Early Years - Farm Trip
This week the children in Nursery and Reception have been to Smithill's Farm. The children had an amazing day and took park in a variety of different activities. They started the day by feeding the sheep, goats, alpacas and llamas in the fields and then enjoyed a tractor ride around the farm. All the children had the opportunity to pet a range of baby animals inlcuding chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs, alpacas, llamas, donkeys and emus and found out lots of interesting facts about them. They saw the workers at the farm using the milk from the cows to make cream cakes and ice creams and finished the day off with a donkey ride and some fun in the fantatsic play area. The children's behaviour was superb and they all joined in with the activities and were a real credit to Greenfield Primary Academy and all of their teachers. Below are a few pictures from their fantastic day.
